Laptops

dell desktops suck ass (other then the XPS) but there laptops are alright.. sucks though because if you add a non-dell part you viod the warrenty!!! check out the athlon 64 laptop that i posted on the first page!!! less then $1000!! cancel your dell order!!! NOW!

haha

well, isn't the entire "void your warranty if you add other parts" thing easy to pass off???????

I add one more stick of RAM.

And den if my computer craps on me

I just take it out.

Simple??
Or perhaps they have some new way to know that I did use a non-dell part???

edit:
I denno why you guys hate dell so much. LoL.

I build my own systems but when I want a reliable little computer for nothing more than just very weak use, I buy a dell.

A pentium 4 2.8 processor with 256 mb of memory and a 40 gig HD for only 240 is a very very good deal.

It would cost the same shouLd I make it myself.

Obviously you can't upgrade it, but then again, I wasn't planning to use it to upgrade.

And my friend has an Inspiron 8600 he's used for about 8 months, and he lent it to me for a period of 3 weeks once. I was satisfied by the performance. NO skips, No lag, NO nothing. Just good, solid performance.

tru dat DEll parts are expensive and that they try to suck me dry of money, but I don't think they're THAT bad.
