Should be okay, id go for 1gb if you were a mad gamer

Yeah, 1gb would be better for games. But 512mb would do just fine.

Simply said, yes it is good ram. Go with 1GB minimumly though. Many new games (DooM3 and HL2) are ram hogs! Geil is a great company as well, good choice!

Corsair, Kingston, Crucial, OCZ and Geil are all pretty good. I personally prefer Corsair tho.

I prefer Geil, Crucial, and Kingston is my favorite (Go PC4200 HyperX!!)

Geil is my second favorite, but for my P4 PCI Express system, I love my Crucial Ballistix PC5300 ram (this is actually the PC I built for my Mom)

POWER TO BALLISTIX. It is really good ram, and runs extremely cool due to its excellent heatsink technology! Check out details on Crucials site.

BTW, LOOK!!! I am not a newb anymore!!! I am a Junior Member. LOL, at the rate I help people, I will be a Guru in no time flat!

Also, I use Geil in another system of mine with an AMD64 3400+ 754 pin processor! the Platitnum Edition Geil is great!! (Ultra Series Plat.)
