16bit game not working, WHY?

ok i have this old game its called sim ant. I love playing this game, although now on my new computer and amd64 3000+ i cannot play it, it pops up with a box saying this:

16bit MS-DOS subsystem
The system is not suitable for running MS-DOS and MS-Windows applications. Choose Close to terminate the application.

any way to get this game working??? thx

Havre you tried the compatiblity wizard ( i gues u are on xp)

ok i tried the compatibility thing, and it still will not work.

have you tried using a dos emulator ex. dosbox? SInce if I'm not totaly wrong simant runs under dos.

yes simant does run under dos, thats why it isnt working, ill try that dosbox emulater, gotta go find it, ill let u know if it worked out, thanks
