Ever since I installed my new ATI 9800, my computer just randomly shuts off. Sometimes I can go days with no problem, but most of the time it shuts off many times a day. When this happens I need to unplug the power and plug it in a few times before it runs again. I have been told that it could be either my power supply is not high enough or that I need more RAM. I am not sure how the RAM could be causing it, but then again that is why I am here because I dont know the answer. I have tried going into my computer and unplugging just about everything that I dont need in order to lower power consumption but it still shuts down. Here is my computer, sorry I dont have all the details in front of me.
