microsoft keyboard sucks. help!!

i have a microsoft multimedia keyboard

the microsoft people(morons) have given silly
functions(copy,new,open) as default instead of the function keys
to get the function keys i have to press the 'Flock' key

how can i make the F lock to be allways on.
it should automatically be on when i start win.

Hmmm... you use the F Keys often?!

What I would do is, if it isn't in the controls for the Keyboard which came in the software then e-mail them about it. They'll probably know a quick and easy way.
