Hi, after moving into my dorm here at college I noticed that iTunes would let me look at other people's shared playlists and even listen to them. It was cool and I shared my files as well.

Well, all of a sudden, I couldn't access the shared playlists anymore, and nobody can see mine either. All of my friends can still use it just fine, and we all have the newest version of iTunes out there. For some reason it just won't work anymore. Can anybody help me, pleeease?

Maybe he did by accident wanting to block some naughty boy downloading porn or films go and the dorm reception

Send a quick email to your network admin, or stop by your Dept of Info & Tech. They should be able to give you an answer on that question quickly. It is very likely that you are on a different part of the network than many of your friends and your part of the network was experiencing extremely high volumes on certain music file types. In an effort to regain some bandwidth, your server's filesharing may have been limited in the way you described.
