Monitor Trouble...

My friend used to have this monitor which i eventually down that past 4 years i inherited which is a Proview 770M. The problem is the best i come up with is that the monitor now seems to give too much contrast adn not enough brightness all the dark areas that ened to be lighter aren't and are too dark....now is there a way i can pop off the cover and fiddle w/ soemthign that fix's it? ive been on various websites but come up w/ not a lot of luck....any help would be great....

What company makes that monitor ??

try the degauge command and don't attempt to open your monitor unless you are a quolified they are a lot more complicated than a PC.

Well you could call the maker but I doupt it's under waranty or even better you could by a new monitor

Yah, that's what I would do, it's not worth fixxing old monitors....

Yeha i was afraid of that just had hoped i could fix it somehow....oh well wahts a nother 130 dollars right? lol thanks guys
