Nvidia geforce mx dosent work well on linux

I run win and linux on one comp, my graphics card works great on win, but the simplest games run slow in linux. I have drivers installed, what else could be the problem? Do i need a graphics card accelerator?

what distro of linux are you running.
i have used mandrake 10.0, fedora core 2, and suse 9.1 and they are all totally slow, over inflated and everything runs like crap.

stick with winblows, until some decent versions of linux comes out

thanks guys, and by the way, im running red hat on one partition and mandrake on the other, the graphics suck on both
