Pentium 166MHZ MMX.. I still remember that one. It was top of the line at the time. It had a Radeon 128 in it... I believe. 16MB of ram at first, then upgraded it to 64MB later.
Back in 97, I got an old 486 that I basically tore apart and put back together. That was what really bot me started in computing. The first comp, however, that I built completely from scratch was that Duron.
1994 a pentium 90MHz, 8Mb of ram, QUAD speed CD-ROM, ISA 14.4 modem, ISA soundblaster 16 bit, PCI diamond stealth S3 with maybe 512k of memory. I upgraded that to a Stealth Redition V2200. I was 12 years old then.
