New Computer specs

hey, i just wanted to know what you guys think about the new computer i just got for 500 bucks

-AMD athlon 2800+ (2.08ghz) 333 frontside speed bus
-CD-RW drive
-DVD-ROM drive
-8 in 1 media reader
-5 USB ports
-Nvidia GeForce4â„¢ MX graphics and nForceâ„¢ 6-channel audio
-80 gig harddrive
-512MB PC2700 DDR (expandable to 2 gigs)
-it also came with a 17inch CRT monitor w/ speakers

im thinkin about addin a DVD-RW drive and add a 200 gig harddrive and keep the 80 , tell me what yall think i should add to it

Well I am English so dollars don't mean much to me but it depend on the brands of the different components but I can tell you that your Graphics Card is old did you get second hand or brand new?

it came new, but the mother board has a AGP slot, i guess ill upgrade it

What brand is your motherboard, cd-rw, dvd-rw,graphics card and ram?

i guess its all gateway/emachines because its a emachines system, i didnt make it , i just bought it

Well i dont like Emachines to much they tend to crash allot....But i did have some friends that have them and they worked ok for them. Overall its a good buy for your money

For $500 its not bad. But it depends what you usually do with your comp. are you a gamer? are you a video editor? business user? home user?
