My Norton Internet Security 2003 has just thrown a spasm and won't let me use it; it believes that I'm not the supervisor, even though I'm the only person who has ever used my computer, and I have never set up accounts with NIS. I can still use the internet, but can't access MSN, AIM, ICQ, GMail, or Outlook Express, and I can't uninstall NIS because only supervisors can do that! I have tried RNav2003, but that seems to have failed. Can anyone help me? Please!

I didn't think it was very good anyway, so it must be really poor!!
And I'm positive that I've never had any accounts, I had the option to set them up but didn't bother

Next time try Mc Afee you can also try RegCleaner that has an option to remove programs forcefully

Thankyou, I forgot all about RegCleaner, it didn't remove NIS, but it took away some crap that seemed to be stopping me from unistalling, cheers, Morpheus. The evil presence of Norton has now left my computer.

McAfee?
I'd rather be unprotected than use McAfee, to each his own I suppose.
