hey guys, i am pulling my hair out here, i have a new laptop (dell) which caught a virus a soon as i put it online, it got a bloodhound 32 virus and a sasser worm virus, i seem to have got rid of the both of them now, only problem is now, i have a 512k connection and as soon as i am connected, it just starts uploading at an incredible speed, it uses all the upload bandwidth available, constantly, even with all windows/programs closed it is constantly uploading something .... ???

Goto Windows UPdate and get the security update.

There is a hole in your computer. Broadcasting information. the update will plug that hole up.

Or try using a Firewall provided by Mc Afey or Norton but the Windows updates usually do the job but just to be on the safe side use a Firewall next time you go on the net
