im using speed fan and it said its on autmatic fan speed control and i set it to 35 celcius but it just keeps at the same speed, so i manually set it to 75% for the cpu fan and 70% on the case fan. the temperature is at 30 now, but can my cpu get too cold? i no what happens if it gets to hot but not if it gets to cold, my computer is overclocked from 2.0ghz to 2.25, my computer is an amd athlon 64 3200+..thanks

Yah, it's Heat that Electonics don't like....

DVD players & Cd players are known for this.

I don't think if you threw it in a freezing lake, for some reason I don't think that would be good. XD

It's cold here... snooooooooooowed last night. :D

My computer seems to be doing fine, althought it is inside... in about 70 degree's... so never mind. :D

I have seen a computer get too cold, what happens is that the fans starts to slow down because (this guy had the comp at -40 celcius) of all the frost then it heats up and the frost melts and water and electronics are not the best mix.

the moral of the story: do not use more that 100 fans and 10 water cooling systems.
