remote file transfering

i have a network consisting of two computers at home, i want to be able to conect to my second computer and access files from it using my main computer. kinda like ftp.

how can i set this up? or what programs will allow me to do this so i can go buy them.

will symantec pc Anywhere do?

if they are networked already it should just be a matter of setting up the network, and sharing files.
