DVD/CD Burner Problem, Please Help!

i'm going to pick up some Memorex 8x drd rs. I burnt a cd today, with nothing going, and i dont know if this is a problem or not, but it will burn at like 2x at the first of each song, then it will speed up to its max, like 32, and then drop down back to 2x by the end of a song. Is this normal? I cant remember my old 12x doing this, and it burns cds faster than my new 32x does.

if they are +R they wont work in regulsr dvd players. they must be -r formatted.

soem players however, support +r

Mine must support +R cos the "mr DVD's" i've got play fine on the DVD Player

Well my DVD disks are MEMOREX +R's and they play on my comp. & my Sony DVD player, so i think it has to do w/either the burner you have or the Software you have.....

i used DVD decryptor, and dvd shrink, and have burn 1 disc succesfully. Thanks for the help
