I have a similair board, did you install the drivers for the port from the mobo cd?

Also... when i wanted ethernet to work with my modem, i had to configure it all and change mac addresses and stuff..

well I got two nics -3com 3c-905TX PCI
and nVidia Nforce MCP ethernet

both 10/100

and both are good nics!

Yes, all of my drivers are installed from the cd.
