i dont think the prob's wit the mouse... n ya i DO have a mouse pad..

i got a new system a few days back.. so wondering where's the fault... it used to work fine on the older machine. it works fine here, just the odd movement at times, n that too just a few pixels up or left...

well, check devise manager & see if the mouse is having a conflict somewhere, you could try cleaning the end with a Q-tip,,,could be dirty.

if all else fails you could go to control panel & try calibrating it.

What make and model is the mouse? Does it need certified drivers?

Try running GIANT antispyware and/or spybot search and destroy
