If you have sp2 it disables java script by default
try turning off the popup blocker.

Sp2? What's that? And which popup blocker should I turn off?

Sp2 is service pack 2 for windows. Turn off the popup blocker for IE

How exactly do I acess that option? I never turned it on, so I wouldn't know

if ur using windows xp then you'd see a 'windows firewall' icon in the control panel.. open that n choose the 'off' button....

oh sorry.. that's windows firewall. the pop-up blocker option is in the same place where u enable the active scripting... click Tools on the menu bar in IE -> click Internet Options -> Security tab -> click Internet icon -> click Custom Level... -> scroll through the settings until you find pop-up blocker. choose disable.

Under security, I saw no such option as to turn off a pop-up blocker.

Also, I think it would better my computer if I deleted SP2. Any thoughts on how to do so?
