Is it possible to have a firewall that you don't know about, because I have the same problems. My email and msn aren't working. But my windows firewall and my norton firewall are both turned off.

yes it is possible to have a firewall you don't know about. sometimes there are firewalls built into routers. if you have a router, you should check it out

I turned off the XP firewall too. I have a wireless connection if that is what you mean by router...

try turning off all your firewalls and see if it works.it might not be the firewall in your case.
