Cool; I'm using it now, It doesn't seem much different

ok, go to your mozilla folder on yer hhd. then open up the defaults folder, then open up the profile folder, then right click and make a blank txt file.....

then give it this name user.js , then open up the blank file you just renamed and put this into it:

// This one makes a huge difference. Last value in milliseconds (default is 250)
user_pref("nglayout.initialpaint.delay", 0);



// Enable pipelining:
user_pref("network.http.pipelining", true);
user_pref("network.http.proxy.pipelining", true);
user_pref("network.http.pipelining.maxrequests", 100);

copy that & paste it into the file you just made....that's it. then reboot....now when you use it, it should be just a little faster.

btw....i got this little trick from a different forum but it seems to work....

yea you're right. I use it all the time because it is faster and it is something different, each has it flaws though.

I can't stand the look of IE. It's so plain and microsoft'ish, Mozilla looks SO much better. Plus it has tabbing. Go for mozilla.

mir mixx, I was checking out that extrension thing for firefox, still kinda confused about how to do it but first do you know why it works? what causes it to make it go faster?
