Why not autostretch. I make pages at 800x600. I used tables and specified percentages for widths (instead of absolute pixels) so the browser handles the display for each viewer. If you have a 17" monitor running a screen resolution of 1024x768 the page should fill the screen entirely and hopefully look good. Did it not?
