memory.....anyone!!!!

i want to put my stick of pc 3200 512 in my old pc for now until i have all the parts for the new build!!!!! can i do this even though the mothereboard doesnt support pc 3200 it only supports pc2700!!!!!, i wont break out will i!!!! will the ram just run at 2700 coz thats ok, but if it will break summat i dont wanna do it!

Yes, it should work fine. Although other things could factor into incompatability. There's usally a list ost compatable RAM on the mobo's site...

if u use pc3200 and it only supports pc2700 it should work. I will only run at pc2700 speeds though.

whats the point what do you wont your computer for if you are using it for mulity task then get faster ram and games, but if u are using it for just the internet leave it as it is, furgy your sig can only b 5 lines i did'nt no that {o well}
