Motherboard wont recognise memory?

Hi, new to this forum, hope someone can advise. I am not sure if my motherboard is recognising my memory speed. I have an asus k8v deluxe and the memory is crucial ddr3200. When checking using asus software I am told speed is unknown. I brought this memory using crucials memory recomender, so don't think thats the prob. If someone has an answer or at least can tell me if my memory (the comps. not mine) is running correctly, I would appreciate it. Please keep answers simple (cos I know my meory is defective), thanks.

what memory do you have like brought, if you no go to start,run then type DXDIAG in then wait a second then it will come up with, what memory is working.

Follwed your instructions, just came up with amount of memory(512) not the speed, any other suggestions would be welcome, thanks.
