dvd-r disks

hello, i hava a dvd-rw drive but when i try to copy dvd's with Datawrite Red (V2) disks the burn process fails near to the end. i have some Datawrite Yellow (V2) disks which work perfectly and dont know whats the problem with the Red disks. whats the difference between those 2 disks apart from the colour?
the burn process did complete once when i used dvd x copy but it didnt play in my home dvd player.
can anyone help me?

Some disks just dont get along with the burner. Pick a batch and stick.

i use Memorex dvd+ R's , they work perfectly.
