I want to install a internal dvd writer to replace a knackered dvd/cdrom player in my pc , to run along side another dvd writer, so I would have 2 dvd writers in my pc.Is this possible ?,or would there be hardware conflicts and so on.
When you take out you old drive, look at the back where the master/slave jumper is. Make sure the new drive has the jumper in the same place and use the same lead/connector into the new drive. And it will work fine.
