We have a 1MB dedicated Leased Line but our users are running Kazaa and stuff and we need to track the users that are using the most bandwidth both for uploading and downloading. The ISP gave us MRTG which is only showing the upload and download bandwidth that the entire company is using at all times in a graph. We have a command line tool on the firewall but its terrible as it zooms by real fast and cant be redirected to a txt file.
So, suggestions appreciated greatly.

I could recomend Winroute 6 by Kerio,

It draws nice graphs to tell you who has been using the internet,

but it is quite expensive.

why can't thefirewall log be re-directed to a text file? what is the firewall program that you currently have?

Another idea would be to use a proxy server (like squid) there are tools avilable to parse the log files and tell you who goes where, why and when and how much bandwidth they use.
