i am an administrator, i went into the user accounts before.

ever since we installed a internal hard drive, it started not working.

well if you installed a internal it shouldnt do that.... usually external hard drives have drivers etc. that mess up....

was the hhd you installed set as a slave drive ? and do you have a different OS (operating system) on it? if you have a duel boot option it may not be config. right.

what are the boot options set to in bios? it should be :
1)cd rom drive
2) floppy
3)hhd
in that order, also is the new hhd partioned & formatted?
also....you have'nt said if their is an OS on the new drive....
