Whats up fellow nerds. I'm from Texas and in my Computer Applications class we got a project where we need to go around and ask people who work with computers about their computer usage. Onsite training by MSCP, offsite training includeing MS certs, oracle DBA certs, plus anyother courses deemed necessary.

What company skills are necessary for a person applying for a job at your company?
there are many different roles, software developers need VB/SQL / VB/Oracle skills,
Webdevelopers need ASP/PHP experiance + DB experiance.
administrators need experiance in the platforms that they will be trained on.
whilst certificates are handy in getting to the interview each and every employee has to sit an entrance exam to proove that they can do what they claim to be able to do.

Windows, (cause we use it and develop software for it!)

Windows for desktop, Linux for server. (obvious reasons!)
