the AMD Athlon XP line is a good budget processor. If you are going to overclock, u would want to go with a mobile XP. If i was you i would wait for the 6600GT for AGP. There are some pretty cheap mobos for Socket A. Just look around some websites like www.newegg.com or something.

there are different sockets for different processors. As long as you have am AGP 8x slot on your mobo, then u could use almost any graphics card. What mobo do you have?
