I have an XP 3000+ its getting outdated. But it works well.

64 bit is better than xp i heared that 64 bit is very good.

yer mine is a amd 64 bit athlon 3000+ and its a socket 754

AMD 3000+ is good enough for all tasks (one task at a time), with a good graphics card you can play any game without the cpu being a problem.

I have had to use CorelDraw 12 and Photoshop cs (at the same time), all this week, and like on any AMD, they're pretty slow at multi tasking.

The 64 is much better than the XP in so many ways, its worth the jump.
