how do i print a list of files in a folder?

i have a ton of files in a folder on my desktop, i want to print a list of all of them instead of typing the list out in a word document, you used to be able to do this with word perfect 10, but ive upgraded to 12 and i dont know how to do it.

anyone know how to print a list of files that are in a folder?

You can just do it from the command line.

"dir" is the command for this on Windows, then you can just cut-and-paste into your document.

i dont understand, how do i do it?
u type dir in the command line? i tryed this and nothing happens

You have to be in the correct directory.

cd C:/path/to/your/files
dir
