nah don't get the 9800xt. for 150 maybe. but not for 300+.

here are the cards u can get for around 300.

6800 non u with 128mb DDR. 280
6800 evga limited edition with gddr3 memory. 325

u can occasionally find 6800 GT's and X800 pros for 330.
