New Computer....

i am planning to buy a PC from dell.... but after reading all this... i am a bit unsure

here is what i am buying:

they are ready to throw in the 5.1 surround, floppy drive and a extra optical drive...

Lol; I sign up for all Microsoft Participation Programs, all the Surveys they say I should do, everything. I even set Office Research up on my school computers when I use it!

I would check out the graphics card first and go for a non embeded one as they will perform better unless you have alot of RAM for them to use.

ya and dell is generally bad if you plan to upgrade. so whatch out for that.

ya they are propriatary they dotn even comply to teh atx standard.
