i think thats what i want.
a friend of mine has a fax machine that fowards the fax to his email address. the fax works over the phone (incoming) but email is over the internet.
he is worried about not being able to recieve his faxes when/if the internet goes down (they are they he just cant get them till the net comes back).
i was thinking about setting up a mail server on their network. so when/if the internet connection goes down it doesnt matter, because it would be local emailing.
im just not sure where to start. like software what to use, etc...
any suggestions?
