my computer i think has a v irus on it.i have to spell v irus different because every time a window with the word v irus on it it closses it.everytime i try 2 install a anti v irus program it shuts it down automaticly.plzz help!!!my computer still works for other functions but i dont want a v irus to b in control of my computer.plzz help.thanks in advance.

Wat OS R u running? If xp have u got all the latest updates and have u got any adware programs if u havent get spybot search and destroy from www.download.com

Run your comp in safe mode. Run the virus scan.

Also, run 'msconfig' and untick things that shouldnt eb tere at startup.

then try installing your viral scanner
or
boot from a norten cd in dos mode and scan from dos
