Ok camers calm down I don't want this thread closed. anyway, I think the computer is probably too old to run Me anyway, and I did manage to find some drivers for the modem so I tried windows update and got no results. i did a search on google for the model number of the mobo but no results there. I'll try searching on IBM cause that's who made the comp.

I recently reformated and re-installed windows ME. I had n o sound and installed soundblaster LIVE 1024. That fixed my sound problem. Also my screen resolution was wierd and so was the whole display anmd after installing 3dfx voodoo3 TV that was fixed too.
