how do you change/check cpu bus speed??

i was wondering how do you check it?? because i did the thing before the comp starts pressing delete and thats whole setup thingy and it said my cpu clock speed was 200 mhz.................. and i don't know if thats my bus or what........ but mine s a 3.0 ghz thats up to 800mhz and my mobo supports that, id the cpu clock speed isn't the bus or what ever how do i check it? and if so how can i increase it, IF its lower than 800
