well cisco is too expensive only teh richest cos can get tehm and also linksys routers have lots of problems after upgrading firmware. the most ive seen for that case. linksys is ok as long as the need to upgrade firmware dont arise.


cisco's fine for large large cos but the Internetworking Operating System needs way more work and is very tedious and unintuitive. no help is given and often times it takes longer to configure and too much typing to config simple settings.

it would be better for a gui. easier adminning and less stress and for people who type fast and make spelling errors its not a good thing.

and really, the IOS is pretty limiting compared to other router OSs.

thats the weakest part of cisco's routing and swtching platform is the OS!!!
