i need help with this virus!!!

I had a similar thing happen to me a while back...When i started up msconfig the box would close automatically after 2 secs...And i could n ot get my norton-antivrus to start up...Since I am running ME as my OS I used system restore. If you have ME or XP then just use system restore..It can be a lifesaver

yea but i have a whole mess of files i don't want to loose, about 60 gigs of stuff, and i don't wanna put it all on dvd

System Restore keeps your files for you - but not the crap.
