my mouse and keyboard both came with usb and then they also have a hook up to change them to ps2... whats better ps2 or usb?? is one faster or wut?

USB is better unless your motherboard doesnt support USB keyboards on startup.

Yeh i have heard of ppl of having alot of trouble with USB keyboards read the manuals mate, i aint sure if any is faster cos i dont think u can have a faster mouse u know wat i mean

well i would use the ps2 instead. for one example you can have an extra usb slot if u use the ps2 instead, and ps2 are usually the default for mobos (i think).

USb drains resources, also for basic things it will want to use a ps2 mouse. Eg windows installation, system restore from bootup etc. Safe mode!

usb keyboards suck. I didnt like mine at all. it needed drivers to work. I went to a ps2 and all is better.
