like I tell everyone... hubs are dumber than swtches.. hubs are some physical layer device that shotts packets out all ports hoping theyll reache the right host.... and wreaks havoc on the networks.

swtches work at layer 2 and at least pass the packets to the right MAC address.

routers go by IP.
