oh cool...ill have to check that out....is there also a thing as like really silent fans? I'm sure it would cost more but does that exist?

Umm depends on what fans you want search new egg for fans and they will give you dba readings. Anything between 15-20 is extemly quite for a fan. And 20-25 is also very quiet.

The quietest cpu coolers run from 20-25.

so if everything on the computer stays at 15 or so dba...the computer will be like a water cooled one?

a case full of fans will never be like a wc'ed one.
it might come close to it.
if u have like a fan controller and set them all to low speed.

watercooling still has a fan so it could be extremely quiet yes. It would be the same as a WC is you picked nice fans

maybe if u run everything at stock speeds.
and u'd still have like 4 fans minimum compared to the wc's fan.

Honestly you must not know what a silent system sounds like.. Most average fans are completely silent.

eh.
i dunno. i have some vantec stealth fans and they're supposed to be silent. I bought 4 of them and i can still kinda hear them. but only if i'm listening for it.

Well guys keep in mind this is a server...if the fans or WC don't cool it enough 24/7 I'm screwed....
