Uninstalling an operating system

Basically I installed Windows XP Pro on my computer, but I didn't overwrite XP home. Is there any way to delete an OS without restoring my computer? It isn't that big of a deal if I have to restore it, but I don't really want to.

thanks guys, I know how to do a complete restore and everything, I was just wondering if there was an easier, or more complicated (I'm always up for learning more about computers), way of doing this. But I guess its a full restore for me.

Yeah - its annoying but its useful. Good for cleaning a computer too like in a Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter/Christmas/New Year clean. :D

Actually I've already done the reformat and everything, but I do have to ask, how do you boot XP into MS-DOS mode? On the startup menu I've never seen an option for it.
