oh crap i never looked at your links. Umm that motherboard isnt compatible with any AMD processor. Its a socket 478 for a p4. You will need a socket 939 for your latest athlon 64 chip.

and that asus you have up top is for the the athlon xp.

Look for a motherboard that has nforce 3 on it and is socket 939. There also is a via socket 939 chipset that is faster but cant remember its name.

I've decided im going to keep my p4 2.8, but I dont want an intel because you cannot overclock with them, I have chosen this asus for now what do you think

i think ur wasting ur money, if u don't like intels. I'd just sell ur entire dell, and build a whole new comp.
