Why do my games freeze

Okay.. I built my computer recently and now when I play games for more than 30Min my computer locks up I cant restart by pressing CTRL+Alt+DEL I have to press the powerbutton so it can shut down my CPU temps are 26*C Not playing any games. I really need help on what i can do to stop my games to freeze any help would be great..My CPU specs are:

P4 2.4c
512 MB DDR RAM
Nvidia fx5700
Asus P4S800 MOBO

That happens to me when ever im overclocking after a while it just freezes. But i dotn know if thats your problem.

your temps wont be that. you just wont have a sensor or updated your bios. It could be overheating

to read temps you actualy have to have a sensor that can sence them! it seems you dont have one. Or... Your motherboard bios is out dated..get me? no? Are you not computer saavy?
