LOL, FDR was good with protecting us sorta. He should have done something earlier.

1) he was midly helping britain. He made the Brits pay for all the goods we shipped there in cash when they were already impovrished becuase of the war.

2) The nazi's were already attacking American Merchants and citizens killing hundreds maybe thousands before Pearl Harbor and he did nothing.

3) He chose not to listen to the accounts of Nazi's killing all the Jews.

4) His Tax and economic policy was horrible. He is the sole reason we have such high taxes. Before him are taxes were low. But he chose to raise them and created no such plan to lower them after the war and depression.

FDR is a way overly hyped president. Just because you serve in a time of war doesnt make you great.

If George Bush was presiden then Millions of Allied Lives would have been saved. Because he would've acted earlier.

Great doesn't always mean good. Great means huge, and the War was huge. The First World War is often referred to as The Great War - not because it was good but because it was so big at least to the people at the time.

Thought you were saying it was good, I misunderstood what context. :D
