Wow there seems to be alot of us. I eventually left a Mac forum that had a place for heated debates. Also I switched to the pc but thats a different story. But I wish to comment on a few things as long as it doesn't get me into too much trouble.
A. I agree with Kalthorn on many things and also disagree with him others.
B. Corruption can be found on all corners of the earth capitalism communism socialism, whatever. As long as humans exist there will allways be immoral people who are corrupted by themselves.
C. As long as there exists evil people in the world Capitalism is the only system that works. Just look at the facts. Ever since America came around and established the constitution Civilization has become exponetially more advanced and better. Think if a free market was institued since BC we would be and intergalactic planet by now. Centralism takes away all incetives for creative thought.
D. Until we clench our fist and crush these Extreme Muslim terrorists the world will allways be in war. Just look at the facts. Every conflict on this planet was caused by Muslims. Something is seriously messed up with that religion. It needs to go through a revival like Christianity did a few hundred years back.
E. Chile or was it Argentinia I cant remeber. Well anyways one of those places had a social security program in place that was sort of like ours here in America. Well they realized how stupid that was and made Social Security privatized. It has worked wondors for them.
F. Even though you may look at things and say hey look at that everyone with food clothes shelter healthcare with all there nessacities met, that would be great. But what Kalthorn doesn't realize is that he has two opinions that oppose each other. He want the strong to survive and the weak to, not nessacarily suffer, but to be diminished somewhat. Personally I feel that any man or women can wake up in the morning and provide for their family. Some people just dont want to do it. People look at FDR and say he was such a great man.
Yeah right, the socialist moron. He created the stereotypical American: fat and lazy sits at home all day on their dirt farm collecting welfare.
Anyone who works hard can be rich. ANYONE! the poor are the lazy. Personally I am middle class who lives in a upperclass neighborhood. My family could be richer but they are rather content with the way things are. My dad's a school teacher and they get paid well enough even though are state ranks dead last on education funding. My dad could be richer if he decided to do another job but he likes this job.
ANYONE can be rich they just have want to be rich. ANYONE in this forum except for maybe bluto since he is canadian can go out tomorrow and say I am going to be rich and in time the do become so. The homeless are lazy fat slobs that have messed up there lives and have never tooken responsibility and will never take responsibility. They CHOSE to be homeless. They CHOSE to be poor. That was their CHOICE.
there was a few other things but I cant remember them anymore. Lord Kalthorn, your intention's are good and ideas are well thought out and great, but in todays society their implimintation is bound to fail.
Capitialism allways provides for freedom and it's the person who has to make up their mind and take action. TOO many people expect someone else to fix there problem. They say who has the most power I will go to them, they will fix everything and who do they find? the government is allways a popular choice. When it comes down to it reponsibility has to be placed on the individual and not on those that surround that person.
Oh yeah now I remeber the stupid thing I was going to say. Lord Kalthorn you are 100 percent right on this whole inheritance issue. There is a specific word for which it is called but I cant think of it off the top of my head. This is one of the most corruptive and wrong things with todays society. Take for instance polotics. Right now if we look at my state we take a look and look at the ballot.
Out of 6 candidates, 3 of them are only there because of what daddy did for me. The governers race is made up of a billionaires son/chinese ambassador. and a son of the former govener. A congressmen is also a son of the former governer and also the brother of the governer candidate.
Also our president is a man who followed in the footsteps of John Quincy Adams being only the second father son presidents. I feel the President Bush has gotten where he is today on the shoulders of his father so has Jeb Bush. That said I think George Bush is among the top five for presidents of this century. Many people disagree and they are allowed that privilege. Many of them are hypocrits but they don't mind. Many of them cant name 3 specific reasons why they hate our president, but they do. The #1 reason people hate President Bush is becuase of his outspoken belief in a god. I probably don't share the same views on god as he does, but atleast he has a moral compass. At least he doesn't bow in the direction that the wind blows. He stands firm in his beliefs and acts upon them.
Every human being is granted a knowledge of right and wrong. You can call it god vs the devil if you like. But it certainly is there. Some people ignore it but the majority dont. If there is no god then who made the rules. Why is killing wrong. If there is no god, there is no right and wrong and that means that I have the right to roam freely killing maiming doing whatever I want. If I want to kill you I can. Atheists by nature (even though they dont) would have to say that there is no right and wrong and people are entitled to anything they damn well please. But we all know that they are wrong.
I dont feel like voting for any of them so when I go out and vote for govener I will make sure there will be atleast one write in vote for MICKEY MOUSE.
Glad I dont have to vote in the congress race.
