Buy a cheap Athlon Thunderbird, those run very hot, good for testing. I doubt you want to fry your 64.

Yeah - that is a good idea. I would have used it on a Modified Toaster. I still may at the beginning.

Its a basic water chill kit £65 , 1/2" barbs and Pipe £15 , 120mm Silent X Fan £10 and i got a bay res on order.At christmas i will buy a waterblock for my 6800 £40

How much of a temperature drop and is it worth it? I'm using the Akasa 825-Carnival HSF at the moment, and I might be willing to buy watercooling but I'd definately research where to get the best barton core mobiles (35 watt) from.
