This was the first time I had purchased webspace. All other times, I have used the free variety. So far, I have been very happy with both performance and uptime.

I'm pretty cheap, so I opted for the basic. Thirty dollars US got me name and space. Also, you get all of the trimmings...MySQL(2 DBs), CGI, FTP, just about everything.

For it to be spam, would I not have to have some interest in whether or not you go to them and patronize thier service?

I simply found this message board and was interested in reading some of the articles. Instead of just inhaling the info found, I thought it would be nice to share the info that another friend shared with me.

It is unfortunate that your uninformed opinion is allowed to give this board a lesser outward appearence. However, I'll still be checking it out as I am sure that you are not representitive of the rest of the crew.


To anyone else that is not so conspiracy minded and is looking for a decent deal on web hosting, you may want to check out the link provided in the previous post.

This is not Spam for the Simple Reason this is on the Shared Hosting Forum; where Hosting Deals are suppose to be put.

It looks good, if I didn't have hosting at the moment I would probably think about it.

Also, I might as well mention the company I am using for my free hosting.

http://www.netfirms.com doesn't have all of the trimmings but you can get a free subdomain or use your own if you want. It also gives you one email webmail account. Only downside is a banner add at the top. Otherwise, a good freebee.

Oh, and excellent customer service. I lost all of my account info at one point. They had a reply to me within minutes(automated) and the solution for me with an hour and a half.
