computer wont boot and always hang

my computer uses ME. it always hang so i planned to format it. fisrt i partitioned my hard drive but still my computer hang even in DOS-mode so i can not format my hard drive; even in the process of reading the boot disk still it hang and sometimes it wont boot.whats wrong?

1.Your here and can't put the same installs etc. you did here to there ?
2.If your here on the problem PC then,really.

Hangs,what is hangs,maybe your not waiting for the next step.
How do you get to DOS mode ?
Once again,i will not reply again without your Windows version.
It could be V3.0 for all i know.

SBN always hangs too.But not around.Do you refresh this forum ?
